Congratulations to RILC alumna and RILC Advisory Committee member Stephanie Haro-Sevilla ’23 on becoming a U.S. citizen today! RILC was thrilled to attend her naturalization oath ceremony, which was presided over by the Honorable Richard Clifton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and held in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii.

Stephanie graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law this past spring and is currently serving as a law clerk to First Circuit Court Judge Rowena Somerville. Stephanie has dedicated her career to fighting the good fight.

The ceremony was an uplifting reminder of the great strength we have in diversity and the importance of continuing to welcome newcomers from all walks of life and from all parts of the world!
