The Clinic is thrilled to announce that it has received two generous grants from the Hawaii Bar Foundation and the Hawaii Women’s Legal Foundation. The HBF grant will support free “pop up” in person legal clinics in Kona, Hawaii in 2023. These clinics will provide immigrants and refugees critically needed access to information about their legal rights and community resources. The HWLF grant will greatly benefit women and children in Hawaii by providing assistance with litigation related expenses as they seek asylum in the U.S.
